Here are some common questions and notes that people have.
For large objects like trees, it's best to use the localized version of the material function. The mesh offset is relative to the mesh scale, so trees would experience more significant wind than small grass and plants if using the global version.
To apply wind effects on an asset, only one can be active at a time. If using packs from the marketplace or other sources that include wind effects, you must replace their wind shader with this one.
Ensure that all multi-material foliage assets use the same wind settings. Use global settings to prevent clipping for these types of assets.
In the localized version, you can find the mesh offset and wind intensity variables inside the material instance or parameters tab of a material. The global settings will not change the intensity or mesh offset for localized wind materials
